Grand slam!!! Lets dive into it =: ) oral supplements, at home creams and such.
Hi! íSo I have been doing some reading around and there is a pleantyful bounty of information scattered around this community! As a new male user filtering through it all I was hoping to be deeply involved in a thread that addresses the core solutions, all in one place, with answers for both male and female readers. My concerns are as follows:

As far as pumping a solution into the body, can it done at home and what is the best combination of products for the average bear to use?

As the year 2017 draws to a close what are the ground breaking oral treatment brands of course for males and females?

In an undiscovered topic, in this community, from my perspective, are there other methods such as sticks or plugs that can be used for insertion such as before bed or in a bath? Also after insertion of solutions into the problem area(s)??

Finally! I have been diagnosed with a high pain tolerance there in I am not concerned with the comfort aspect. Please keep any and all responses pertaining solutions that deal with the problem directly and not the side affects, such as pain, diet alterations and other comforting methods. Any and all advice should be presented in a fasion that focuses on maximizing health and medication potential. Closing please have answers complete in a sense that they address both genders, for those seeking specific information request through the means of a private message. Your cooperation is accepted with very much gratitude as all here should be seeking the most affective methods to a healthier future - The Dude obides .!?

If "pumping a solution into the body" means bladder instillations, yes, it can be done at home in some instances whatever your sex. There is only one oral medication I know of that has been approved by the FDA specifically for interstitial cystitis --- and that is elmiron. There are a lot of different medications that can help with symptoms --- and diet is extremely important for most ICers.

I suggest you have a look at the AUA Guidelines for Treatment (see link in my signature below).
