    pregnancy with pfd and ic

    hi there,
    i was wondering if pregnancy worsens pfd symptoms in the long run? or if its just a short term thing?

    Actually not usually because pregnancy hormones tend to relax tighter muscles so that they can stretch, support and carry a baby... so I would expect that it could help. Any doubts though, please talk to your physical therapist!

    Helped mine. It was worse just for a few weeks after birth, then improved again. He's almost 2 months. Pregnancy increases blood flow to that area.
