    Best place for diet info

    Advertisement :
I have found a few lists but I still feel like I have to google every food I try. Just wondering if there was a good place to start. Also how long after you ingest a good does it cause issues? I'm really struggling with the diet now and want to give up! I'm doing gluten and dairy free. Very little sugar and keeping to the safe list yet out of nowhere had a bad day. Ugh

Re: Best place for diet info

There's a link in my signature to what I feel is the best diet I've seen so far. There isn't a diet that's 100%, but it was developed with input from literally thousands of IC patients. The time it takes for a food to cause a flare can vary. For me, if it's a liquid, it can have an effect within an hour or less --- a solid food takes longer for me.
