    Good Candy Bar

    Advertisement :
    Hi Everyone,

I don't know about you but white chocolate is not my favorite and I'm consistently disappointed. However, I found a candy bar that's actually pretty tasty. It's also Vegan and dairy free. (Charm school Vanilla Bean Rice Crisp).

It's expensive to purchase on the website but I've found it at Whole Foods at a better price. Anyway, if you have a sweet tooth like me it's worth a shot!

There are some very delicious treats available in the ICN Shop --- and they are far less expensive. The link to the ICN Shop is at the top of this page.

Green & Black's Organic White chocolate bar is the best! My bf likes it, and he doesn't have IC!
You can find it at whole foods too!

I really miss regular chocolate though.

Thanks! I'll have to try these out.

Sadly, I find the ones in the ICN store somewhat lacking in the flavor department. But to each their own!
My IC has been stable for 2+ years now and I don't even think about my bladder most days. It's such a great non-feeling! My hope for you all is that you get to a point where you can start living again. It can and will happen! Don't give up ever!

    History:

    Age: 31
    Diagnosed: 2011
Urologist: A truly wonderful doctor who specializes in IC and is not afraid to manage the pain of his patients.
Surgeries: Cystoscopy with Hydrodistention (2011); Laparoscopy (2012)
Medications for IC: Benadryl, Elavil, Elmiron, Gildess FE (continuous) (also for Endo), Nucynta, and Prelief.
Flares: Pyridium or Cystex, Tums, vanilla ice cream, plain baked potato, and Valium.
IC diet: Yes! It took me 1 and 1/2 months with NO cheating (that's SO important) to notice it working. However now, I am able to cheat occasionally. But I never overdo it.
Other medications: Atenolol, Cymbalta, Armour Thyroid, and Zetia.
Other conditions: Endometriosis (stable), Fibromyalgia (stable), Hypothyroidism (not stable) and of course IC (stable).

I also do like Justin's White Chocolate Peanut Butter cups. The white chocolate doesn't seem quite as waxy as it usually does.

I like those too, but it has kind of a weird after taste.

I got some White Chocolate Buckeyes from Fannie May, but I live near the HQ so Idk if you can get them online or a retailer.

I really miss chocolate too. My husband just made a homemade chocolate chip ice cream cake tonight. It's so depressing! I used to like Green & Black's regular chocolate but haven't seen the white. I'll have to look for it. Thanks for the tip.

I suggest you try some carob bars. They aren't chocolate, but if you haven't had chocolate for a while, they are a good substitute.

My boyfriend made him and I carob brownies last night! They were good, but I think he liked them more than I did!
