    Advertisement :
I had my second appointment with a continence nurse specialist this morning and she suggested post tibial nerve stimulation.

I have either a diagnosis/or suspected IC. It is very unclear as they say they are treating me for IC but haven't performed any diagnostics. (Freq started 13mnths ago, constant pain started may).

Does the nerve stimulation treat frequency or pain? Or both?
At my last appointment she mentioned instills!!
    Confused by my fickle nurse..
    Jess, 26, from the UK.
    Treatments that didn't work:
Toviaz 4mg, Vesicare 10mg, Regurin XL & Mirabegron all caused retention.
    400mg Cimetidine.
    Gabapentin 900mg 3x daily, Duloxetine 20mg.
Amitriptyline 50mg (helped loads but the drowsiness did not subside.

    Currently taking
    Nortriptyline 25mg
    Cystistat instills started 20/03/15.

    Re: Confused

If you're not feeling comfortable with what you are being told, my suggestion is to get a second opinion from someone who is not in the same office as your current specialist.

    Sending healing thoughts,
Have you checked the ICN Shop? for US & Canada for all others
