High Acids & Caffeine In Foods & Drinks Can Lead To Bladder Damage

We must acknowledge that many modern foods and beverages are strongly associated with bladder irritation including caffeinated beverages (coffee, teas, green teas, sodas) as well as acidic foods and juices (citrus, cranberry, tomato, etc.) in some but not all people. Multivitamins can also be a hidden trigger food due to high quantities of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). For many patients, simply eliminating exacerbating foods can dramatically improve and/or resolve symptoms.
