In addition to provide patient support and outreach services, the Interstitial Cystitis Network actively supports the IC research community not only in the collection of data for research studies but also in the promotion of cutting edge clinical trials. We are proud to have contributed to and co-authored a variety of studies that have been presented as abstracts at conferences and also published in medical journals.

ICN Clinical Trial Center
Patients can review the list of active clinical trials for IC and other pelvic pain conditions. Clinical trials are used to determine whether new drugs or investigational treatments are both safe and effective. Patients often choose to participate in studies because they provide access to the latest investigational therapies and medications at no cost. Milestone Research Studies
Make no mistake. In the past twenty years, the international IC research movement has embraced not only the study of pelvic pain but have made substantial progress in the search for a cure. In the USA alone, the US National Institutes of Health has spent more than $100 million dollars into the study of IC, prostatitis and its related conditions.
