Enterococcus Question

Hi all,

Sorry for another silly question as I am trying to understand my broth culture result.

Do enterococcus species (bateria) only found in patients with IC? Or is it possible for it shows up in the culture on people who is just having a UTI?

As always, thanks in advance for your replies!

Little Q,
Enterococcus can be the bug in anyone for a UTI. It is a bacteria that lives in the intestines like E.Coli for example.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hugs,
Barb
