Over the counter antihistamines

Has anyone had success with OTC antihistamines, saw a couple threads regarding this and was wondering if trying this until can get prescription.

My allergy specialist recommends claritin over benadryl if you have to use OTC meds. I have a script for allegra and love it because I have no side effects at all.

hi

hey there im newer here but that has been one of my first approaches because im not a medication person in fact my docs get mad because i wont take what they prescribe a lot of times. ive been taking benadryl only at night on and off and i dont know if its helped or not but my bladder is feeling a little better not as urgent or frequent, but see id rather be in pain then have the other sx those drive me crazy but it helps me sleep thats for sure. good luck
