Nerve Blocks in Canada

Hi,

I have been through the gamut of IC treatments and now take the B & O suppositories to give me a bit of relief, but I can't take them too ofen or continuously because I develop serious side effects from them.

I have an appointment with our Pain Clinic at the end of October but that seems like such a long time away.

I am wondering if there any Canucks out there who have had successful nerve blocks done in Canada and would share their experience with us.
As I am seeing an anethesiologist I am guessing one of the treatments he will be considering is some type of nerve block.

I appreciate any assistance or advice as I am feeling very despondent about living with this severe bladder and pelvic pain the rest of my life.

If anyone would like to e-mail me directly, that would be great.

rsmonty@telusplanet.net

Sincere thanks,

Louise

Hi Louise,

I have'nt had the nerve block done as of yet, but was also thinking
of looking into it. This may help you alot. I hope that you have found
others that have had this done and you can receive some valuable feedback
before you go to the pain clinic. Have you done any reading on the
treatment? Check here on this site under treatments and see if you can learn more or maybe you can google it. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
