Can Neurontin cause flares?

I saw a pain doctor for the first time, and he prescribed 300mg of Neurontin. I took the first dose at bedtime a few days ago, slept fine, but the next day my frequency increased and bladder felt worse. I waited a few days, then tried half a dose last night. This morning my bladder feels extremely tender and irritated..no pain, but frequency is intense. I normally have good mornings, so I can't help but think it's the Neurontin. Anyone else had this reaction? The doctor will think I'm a freak. Thanks.

It caused me to retain, so my bladder was unhappy.

It all depends on the person. What works for one may put another into a flare. Neurontin worked great for me but i had a reaction to it. I have not found anything as great as the neurontin for my pain. If it is making you worse it would be a good idea to tell your dr. And he shouldn't think you are a freak. It is all about finding the right meds and dose. Good luck!

Question

Hi everyone,
I have general questions as to what side effects and reactions people experienced on Neurontin.
What side effects and reactions were intolerable?
I started two days ago at 100mg QD at night, then I'm to titrate up as tolerated, I have chemical sensitivity associated with my fibromyalgia, so this will be big work in progress to see what will be a therapeutic and tolerable level for me. On 100mg I experience slight cognitive disturbance, and sleepiness.
Thanks for your input.

Frequency

I was just put on 300mg Neurontin this past friday...

I too noticed that I have been getting up more to pee. I can't imagine having to go anymore...

maybe it will go away...I don't know.

But I also feel tired, lethergic and I have noticed a feeling of being depressed?

But by far the weirdest...

is this weird tingly feeling from the top of my head to the tips of my toes...

But no pain improvement...
