Vistaril & Elmiron During Pregnancy - Interstitial Cystitis Network Support Forum

Has anyone taken Vistaril (hydroxyzine) and/or Elmiron during pregnancy? Two of my doctors told me that I could and should take it during the pregnancy. I am 7-weeks-pregnant. My IC has not gotten worse while pregnant this time; whereas, the last pregnancy I was in terrible pain from the 4th week on (this was before I was officially diagnosed with IC). What would you do?

I stopped taking the elmiron when I found out I was pregnant. But this was almost 7 years ago.
Many girls on here have taken it and went on to have healthy pregnancies.
If you aren't sure, try going without it..........but if you need it........and your medical team say it is o.k. then listen to them.
