When to take Elavil
For people taking 50 mg's of elavil do you take it all at once at night time or one at night and one in the morning?

My story:
31 year old teacher from Canada
I have had ic for 8 years
I currently take:
Elmiron 2 twice a day
Atarax 25mg a day
Elavil 25 mg once at night
Rescue instillations: First 9 over 3 weeks then starting a maintenance at once a week
Glucosamine
Aloe Vera capsules
naturopathic medicines
trying lyrica at 300mg 3x a day
Trying Uracyst instills
acupuncture
Based on Dr's findings during bladder distension was diagnosed with "severe" ic in Winter of 2006. 
Tried and failed:
Ditropan xl ( Made me feel much worse)

hi there
I find it really makes me sleepy so i take mine at night(i am up to 75mgs now)
But yeah whenever i have tried it in the afternoon or something it just makes me want to nap....so i recommend taking it at night...
hope it is helpin ya

It is hard to stay focused on the positive sometimes.... 
I am a very open person and ask me anything.... 
One day we all will have relief from pain....i do believe that but it doesn't come fast enough....

I take my 25mg dose in the early evening, between 6:30 and 7:00. It really does not make me sleepy but then I have been taking it for several years.

I take 30mg at night- usually around 7:30 or so....
