My skin specialist said that adult acne becomes surprisingly common in your 40's and 50's. Hormone changes can trigger it. However, adult acne is not qute the same as adolescent acne and seems to be much more treatable.

Matt,
Very interesting. It's time for my liver test in April. Well I've noticed little tiny spots all over the upper half of both legs. I didn't think anything about it til I read this post. I am wondering now...........and maybe it's nothing.
Merry I hope your doctor can help you. It's a pain when we find something else, isn't it.?
Hugs,
Jaime

Jaime, I have a rash like that on arms & upper knees. I have had it as long as I've been on the Elmiron- 2 years, but it's not listed as a side efect, and was diagnosed as pityriasis lichenoides chronica, which translates to chronic red rash of unknown origin! Vanity won't allow me to quit my Elmiron, though, and I was so happy for capris & 3/4 sleeves! By the way I take milk thistle for the liver, suggested by a doc...Matt is right, and it's kept the enzymes which were a little high, normal.

Thanks Sue! You read my mind about warm weather and wearing your capris.
Heck I'm only 26 but if the style is close to those "short shorts" I got my capris on!!
