Post Had to resign from my job

Hi everyone, Well I gave it a go again and have had to quit my job. I have really been struggling with the pain and fatigue. I also have lost about 40 lbs in 10 weeks and have been running a low grade fever. So we're trying to figure it all out. I was finally getting lots of referrals also for the therapy work I was doing and really enjoying it. So, I am sad to let it all go but I am also releived. After I made the decision it felt like a great weight was lifted from me. I want to give what energy I do possess to my children and my fmaily and I need to stop an d take good care of myself. Although I am very sad, I am at peace with the decision. Now, I just need to keep my plate empty and focus on me and my family. So, Adios to my professional side for a while. Love to you all, Jules

Thumbs up

Jules, I realize what a tough decision that you had to make. But, you and your health are the priority. I am hoping to be able to pick up some home health care on a contingency basis in the Fall. It's been 2 years since I have worked, and I think I am ready to give a try. Do you think it is a good idea for me to be up front with my new employer, and tell them about my IC? I just want to get it out in the open. How did people at your work, if they knew, react?
Anyway, you never make the wrong decision, when you put your health and family first--good for you! Hugs Jules! Hope you get feeling better soon!
