Unhappy Help!! Remember the diaper rash?

I had a long and very helpful thread going several weeks ago, and I think its on the flare board, and I don't know how to link it.
I was having what you guys helped me to determine was a yeast infection that was like chafing in my "crack" from the tip top down to the rectum was red and terribly chafed. I knew it was from the Cipro, and all of you were right about what to do. (I wonder why we are all different, I have this External thing, not really effecting the labia, etc? Before I've had thrush instead of a "vaginal" infection?
Anyway, I had 3 DIflucan every 3 days. I was to treat with Nystatin at the same time. As luck would have it, I started my period in the middle of the treatment. (I did not apply the Nystantin a few days because I was better, and I thought it would make it worse with my period.)
"Bottom" line (no pun intended!), I started getting worse again. Picture a circle of redness where its red all around, it was red just around the edges of the circle, which made me think it's better, just not well.
I got another 2 DIflucan, thought I was getting better, and its hurting again. Its right where I sit and where I lie on my back.
I have been slathered in Nystatin for days, and I am beginning to wonder if keeping it so damp down there has made it worse. Since its covers so much area, its really cremed up from by tailbone and the insides of my cheeks. I know you are supposed to use it...am I putting too much. Why is this not getting better, or it seems the minute the Diflucan gets out of my system, It tries to come back.
My uro has left town to practice, and my mom, a fellow IC'er is in the hospital. I can't take all my clothes off, but I'm tempted!
I'm not a yeast infection person, please help. I have read the tips, I just wonder about too much creme or if anyone has had one resistant or that comes back without the DIflucan. I can't do this right now! The effected area is where I sit. I can't really air that out! Has anyone invented that cheek spreader?
Help?

P.S.
Whoever said that about the light may be right. My uro said the best thing would be if I could sit outside and let sun get on it. (I DON'T even want to picture that attempt!!)

Yeast like moisture...but they also like heat...(can you use ice?) Are you taking a probotic? Can you take Garlic suppliments?

Yes, many have had a lot of difficulty treating yeast infections here....me included.

Your not alone!

Ok, I admit, I don't really know what a probotic is.
Thanks Katrina, I see you are very knowledgeable in this area. You are helping alot of people. I'll try to post it. Its on the Flare board on about the page 3. It says "chafing/burning.

a Probotic is good bacteria....they are a good way to kill yeast and they are normally found in the digestive system. They are in Yogurt but you can buy them in suppliment form such as acidophilus....they also come a lot stronger than a WallMart suppliment but they help even in the mild Walmart brand.

YEAST LIST: Boric Acid, Aci-gel (insert it at night, it maintains the ph of the vagina & yeast can't live when there's an acidic environment - or can use apple cider vinegar in water TAKE CAUSION IF YOUR URETHRA IS SENSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!) and also washing externally with tea-tree oil diluted in water. \acidopholous tablets, a wet towel with s AZO yeast, http://www.ghtbiz.net/rescue/nocandida/lead.html, Any probotics, Flora-Q The Flora-Q is made by Kenwood Therapeutics. It contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus paracasel, and Streptococcus thermophilus -- these are all bacteria that normally live inside your digestive tract. What you do is take a capsule a day for a few days during antibiotic treatment and then a couple afterwards, and this replaces your normal flora, making it much less likely to to get yeast infections. http://www.ic-network.com/iclifestyles/july01.html list of ideas (Nystatin, Diflucan by prescription.) For oral thrush that keeps coming back: change your tooth brush
For the yeast infection that won't go away: Make sure it is a yeast infection, get a culture done maybe your doctor can find out what medicine your yeast will respond to. Look into possible hormone problems if you are post metapousal. THREELAC or other probotics that are different than the capsul or oral ....probotics come in many kinds and if simple kids don't work out there are other options.

Last Resort: don't try this without discussing it with your doctor! "The first day I notice the itchiness and burning I get a large piece of garlic smash it and smear it all over outside and as far inside as I can.

It burns stings and really hurts for a few seconds. Then I take it out once these sensations an the itching subside. I have a good wash to get rid of the odor (cool water only of course

try waring only 100% cotten panties
no tight clothing.
try after each time you pee wash your self with warm water and white vinger. I have read to use apple cider vinegar like from a health food store. I know I would start out with a pretty weak solution to see how my skin reacts
(if you don't have any open sores down there)
try going without panties at night or when your just around the house by your self ware a night grown or a dress so you can go without panties for maybe an hour or two.
Avoid hot baths
