Georges Aloe Vera? No citric acid.
has anyone tried Georges Aloe Vera juice? It has no preservatives at all (no citric acid!) because it is made by distilling the Aloe Vera. It is strange because it tastes just like drinking water.
I am taking it 2 oz 2xday like it says. I was going to try Desert Harvest, and still might, but I found this and liked the idea of drinking Aloe as opposed to swallowing a pill, as sometimes pills irritate my stomach. I have done it for 3 days now and I am feeling a little better, but that is probably hormonal, I dont think the Aloe could work that fast.
Just wondering if anyone has tried it.
-Emily

Feeling a bit worse today so I guess it was not the Aloe...but the label says it takes 2 weeks to see results so maybe it is working anyway.

I'd like to know the name of the gel too. Do you think that it was the Gel that put you into remission or the Elmiron that you take? Or a mix of the 2?
You live in WA too, so probably I could get the same brand of gel as you are taking. Did your uro recommend the certain brand? Does it have citric acid?

I get mine at Helens Health Food in Silverdale...it has a yellow label with green letters..I get the 64 oz plastic bottle...I have seen the smaller bottles, but it's a better deal to go larger...:o)

Can you comment on whether it could be the elmiron (which I can't take) as opposed to the aloe vera gel that put you into remission?

Please let us know if you think it was the Elmiron/Aloe mix or just Aloe that put you into remission?

I have been on Elmiron since July 2...I started the Aloe Jan 26th . I had seen the uro for an Elmiron instill that morning and that's when he told me about it and also told me to start on it that very day......I had been seeing the uro for Elmiron instill every 2 weeks until that time..Since starting the Aloe I have not had to go see him...it's been 2 months now!
