Dealing with co-workers

Hi, all. I have had IC my whole life with some intermittent periods of remission. Been dealing with it again for the last three years. Currently I work from my home as a free-lance journalist and copywriter.

Here is why I'm posting. As a free-lance journalist, I have recently been talking with ICN Jill and am putting together an article for her about work issues and IC.

My question is this: What experiences (both good and bad) have you all had in talking with your colleagues about having IC?

I know in my previous job I had a very understanding boss, but I also had trouble explaining to him some of my problems. I am interested in learning what you all have found has worked and what hasn't. You are welcome to reply to this post, PM me or e-mail me at sashannon1@hotmail.com.

Also, please let me know if it is OK for me to identify you by name. If you don't mind, I would love to use first and last names. I would also like to know your occupation, age and how long you've had IC, if you don't mind.

THanks so very much!
