TIRED and Confused. Help Please

Hello everyone,
I am very new to the ICN web-site as well as computers. I managed to stumble onto this wounderfull site of very caring people who also deal with IC and other IC related issues. I have also had a great deal of support from alot of people on the USA ICN site. There are a few from Canada but not many. I just found this canada basied ICN site and I would Really appreciate ANY help I can get from any of you kind people as to where I can find a decent and kind uroligist who REALLY knows his stuff as far as IC is concerned.
I have had IC now for about 12 years and have seen just about every uroligist I think there is.
I have had some really nasty ones, and many of the others seem to see me once or twice before they tell me there is Nothing they can do for me.
I was a part of the BCICA support group for a few years untill it went under due to lack of funds.
I was featured in our local news paper with Sandy McNicol who taught me alot about relaxation, and self hypno. I alos went to thorsons Pain clinic.
I have been in an awefull painfull flare now for 5 weeks with NO relief in site. My GP has set up appointment for me to see a new uroligist in middle January, and God I hope I can hang on untill then. I have gone to emergancy before with such severe IC pain only to be sent home with little to NO understanding about IC and the pain it causes.They just look at me and think I am just making a big deal about nothing. Is there ANYONE in the Vancover, Surrey area, or for that matter I would pretty much go anywhere there may be a good decent uroligist that would care about me, and knows what he/she is doing, and really understands. Hi Cassie, this is Alexa from the ICN website. I live in Vancouver as well. My urologist is Dr. John Masterson, and I have also heard that Dr. Fenster is something of an IC expert as well.

I totally understand how overwhelming and exhausting IC is! Do you currently have a urologist? Have you tried the IC diet yet? That, along with Elmiron, helped me tremendously.
