Unhappy how can I have pyridium???

Hi, I'm a portuguese guy and in my country we don't have pyridium in the drugstores ((, I have read that pyridium relief the burning sensation and frequency. When I have the burning I try a lot of meds, like painkillers, Uristat and others. None of those have done anything for me . Is there any way to have pyridium, with some kind of on-line buy...

I don't know about online purchasing of pyridium, here in the states theres over the counter azo, its a lower dose of the same meds as pyridium, but I wanted to ask have you tried baking soda in water? Tastes awful, but may help!

Another thing that may help w/burning is corn silk, here in the U.S, it can be purchased in capsules and in tea, but it does raise the frequency a bit. I dont know about where you live, but you can get it here at health food stores, BUT, all it is is the stringy stuff you throw away when you shuck fresh corn, I have read somewhere, can't remember where, they dried it in the oven then made tea out of it, I dont know if you would have to dry it or if you could just soak it in water. Just another idea that may work, but like I said it can raise your frequency. I just don't know anything about online shopping for Pyridium/Azo. I do wish you luck.

more on pain relief

I have found that Oxybutynin 5mg (Ditropan 1 tab every 8 hours) works for my pain. There is also a 24 hour pill of Oxybutynin which I have not tried but I may give it a try when I go skiing in March. I tried the patch of oxybutynin but it did nothing for me.

Best I can say is it can help when you are in a flare, when I have urethral burning and frequency, I use baking soda and water and it seems to help. I have read ppl. using a tsp. in one cup water, but it tastes so awful to me (gackable like a plastic pipe to me) I can only handle 1/4 tsp in a cup of water, but it still works!
