Lightbulb yummy looking fruity milkshake recipe and Melon-mint water recipe

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is doing ok. Phew I have been so busy I havent been to the ic boards in awhile. I just saw a copy of the new better homes and gardens mag and I saw a recipe for a yummy looking fruit drink with ic friendly ingredients (or at least I think) lol. So I thought I would share.
Here it tis:
In a blender, place 1 cup fat-free milk, 1 cup frozen fruit (blueberries), and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and top with fresh blueberries. Makes two servings.

Have'nt tried it yet but the picture looks goood...mmmmm.
Also they had a recipe for Melon-mint Water. Cucumbers and honeydew shouldnt be a problem but I don't know about mint. Anyone know if mint is ok? Well I thought I would share this recipe too just in case its ok. Could add some flavor to all that water we've been drinking. Here is that one:

Cut a small, clean, unwaxed cucumber into slices. Place slices, a few wedges of peeled honeydew melon, and a handful of mint leaves in a large pitcher. Fill pitcher with water. Cover and chill up to 3 days. Strain water, reserving melon and cucumbers to nibble on. Pour water into tall glasses over ice. Makes about 8 servings.
Both of these recipes can be found in the September 2004 edition of "Better Homes and Gardens."

Well hope these recipes will be of use to everyone,
Kim
