Hello, has anyone ever had this Gastroparesis, The doctor that called for the tests said my esophagus was full off food and they could not get down to where the test originally should go. It was called a endoscopy. ( I think)
Anyway they wanted to put me on re gland and my family doctor said no because I already have a trimmer in my right hand. It seems like everything is having problems but I think a lot of it has to do with age. I am 68 and my spinster muscles about them not closing and then I get this horrible taste in my mouth and when I bend over food like comes up. Sometimes I feel like a bird that regurgitates to feed its young. Now I know that some folks on here have some things wrong with that they say comes along with the I C business, but I have not read of anyone having the symptoms that I have.
I just hope I do not have to have any surgery. I am alwyas sick in my stomach and feel like I am drugged. I am the person with the implanted pain pump and wondering if something is going wrong with the pump. I am scared to drive because I feel like I am not in control. Posts: 160 sounds like you have acid reflux? I have a son who is a quadrapeligic and he has something that I can't remember what it is called (slow motility) but it is basically slow digestive where his food does not go down as fast as it should, because he is paralyzed i guess.

I don't think this would be anything to do with the IC but a totally different problem. Have you seen a gastroentologist(sp?). My son takes 10mg of reglan to help the food moving along his digestive tract and emtying out properly. He only takes one a day and it helps with naseau too.

oh i just saw your dr. did not want to put you on Teglan because of your tremor but ask him if you could just try 10mg a day and not the normal 10mgs 3x a day is what some drs. prescribe. My son used to take 10mgs 3x a day but he is ok with taking just 1x and it still helps.
