OMG, My Worst Flare Ever!
This is awful. The burning is driving me crazy. I have drinking plenty of water and watching what I eat pretty well. I don't have a uti. My culture results were negative. This flare started last Tuesday and the burning and frequency has increased each day. My IC symptoms had been under contol since late September. I thinking about having another round of instillations done but I am not sure what type. I had a round of dmso instillations back in August last year. I have been taking Elmiron since I was diagnosed last May. I was wondering what the difference is between Dmso instillations and rescue instillations. I haven't been visting these boards much lately so I haven't kept up with the lastest treatment news too well. I spend a lot time on an MS message board since MS is my main disease. I sure would appreciate any advice you gals have on instillations. Thanks for reading.

Goodness, this one sounds like it doesn't want to leave. Sounds like your doing a good job at trying to ease it up. Hope you figure out what is causing this and it settles down

I saw my urologist yesterday and I am going to be starting rescue instillations next Monday (twice a week for three weeks). I sure hope they do the trick. I aam still expiriencing a lot of burning and I have a lot of pain all over my pelvic area.
