What's everybody want for Christmas??
Not that we all don't want healthy bladders for Christams but since that is not happening this year what else have you ask for or wanting??
THe only thing I ask for was a new Longeberger purse and a sweatshirt that says "Dancer's are proof that money must grow on tree's" IT has an ATM with money flowing freely from it. Gotta love being a dance mom.

Besides the healthy bladder I'm hoping for some shoes, uggs or something like them. I also want a jacket. There's one at Old Navy that's cute.
Hmm... some good old candy canes, books (I love novels), candles. I guess that's all. I'd love a sewing machine someday. I think it'd be a fun hobbie.
What are your kids hoping for?

Hmmm, I wanted a new camera, my dream printer (not happening, can't find it anywhere, in stores or online - bummer), some DVD's, attachments for my KitchenAid, and a new food processor. Huh, I think that's it. I don't even really recall asking for anything in particular, lol.
So, keeping fingers crossed!

Sandy you will love the Calphalon pans, I will never go back to teflon again ever.
Tracey if you get htose attachments won't you have to cook?????????
Abliske my kids ask for way to much, the oldest wanted a Pebl cell phone, digital camera, build abear, outrageus tennis shoes, anything gold with bling on it. The middle one ask for some dolls from Paradise galleries, build a bear, and littles pet shop, the baby only wanted a Build a bear Penguin with PJ's on it. If they could all just as for 1 simple reasonable thing. Oh well I guess a mother can dream.

for many years i have had an ice cream maker on my wish list (gelateria) but never dreamed to ask for one ... they are so expensive! My 2 eldest boys have their first holiday jobs at the moment and guess what??? YAY!!!!!
I borrowed one last week and have so far made strawberry gelato (it was sooo good, made of wild strawberries) lemon and lime gelato, mango sorbet swirled through a rich vanilla icecream and for me i made a pear sorbet that was creamy and oh so white with a wonderful mouth feel. Now i will be able to make icecream anytime!!! The gelateria is so great, i put the icecream churner on as we sit for dinner and by the time we are all finished, wonderful icecream to eat with our fruit.
I am mixing up threads here but i have made the lemon/lime one to use as an amuse bouche between our seafood starter and main meal for Christmas Day
I also have filled lemons with various gelati which i will serve as we sit around the pool on Christmas Day and as the children play water volleyball....you can tell I am in Aus, cant you?
I also always want cook books, candles, novels, vouchers for beauty and massage therapies, any plain white serving ware for my table...i think i am easy to buy for but rarely does anyone get it right. I try to be greatful but how many bottles filled with ugly vegetables that are inedible can a girl hide in her garage?
hugs all and hopes all your Christmas wishes come true

I am hoping for some Clarks and Born clogs to wear to my new job, some new capris and casual tops to wear to work because the only things I can't wear to work are midriffs and shorts,(after 15 years of scrubs you don't tend to own a lot of real clothes beyond elastic shorts and sweats), Longaberger large wash basket.............
but most of all, (material gifts mean nothing)I want and am praying for my Boo Bear's safe return home to me.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy Flare Free New Year~
Hugs,
Barb

Electric skillet or roaster, Loreena McKennitt's new CD and bare essentials starter kit. The skillet or roaster is because, ever since diagnosis, I've had to learn how to cook! My hubby and I put together easy meals or went out to eat, and it's just not happening now.

Mostly though, I'm just really glad to be spending Xmas with my family. And I'm glad to have 2 weeks of vacation too. I'll spend a little time on work - grading notebooks, writing a final exam, preparing lessons-- to make January a little easier. I've only got 8 more days with these students, the new semester starts in Jan with all new classes & kids! Wow - time flies..

This week's favorite one-liner:
"I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by...
New second favorite:
"And which dwarf are you?."
Adding a third because I'm just so darn easily amused...
"Eagles may soar, but weasels aren't sucked into jet engines."
Current treatments:
-IC diet
-Elavil 20mg at night
-Ditropan 5mg at night
-Continuous use birth control pills (4-5 periods/year)
-Heparin/Marcaine/Sodium Bicarb home instills every night & sometimes in the morning also
-Pyridium if needed, usually once a week or so
-1 Darvocet at bedtime,
-Flexeril 10mg at bedtime
-Dye Free Benadryl for allergies occasionally
-Pelvic floor & myofascial release (external only) physical therapy for 8 weeks, then home exercise program...
-Managing stress
-Fur therapy: Hugging the cat!
