The pressure's off
I haven't been around here much these last two months. The show I was frantically trying to build up work for was recently postponed. I feel like a school kid dreading a test, and waking up to find school cancelled due to a heavy snowfall! 
This is a painting I just finished, and every time I look at it I have to smile. I spend quite a bit of time out photographing wildlife and this view makes up a large percentage of the shots I get! Yes, I see lots & lots of hind ends, usually high-tailing it for the next county!

Total Abdominal Hysterectomy--adenomyosis--9\08
Colostomy surgery due to rupture of lower large intestine (sigmoid colon) ---4\18\09--Had peritonitis, almost died after surgery as I was very sick. Learning to deal with that and get healthy enough for *possible* reconnect surgery January of 2010...if not this surgery saved my life, so I can, and will live with it....happily!
