Grateful for the new rings hubby bought for our annivarsiery

He is such a grate person, in November when they thougth I had uterine cancer he left and went straight to the jewerly store and bought me a huge 2 carat 3 stone diamond ring, the year before that he bought me the 1 carat 3 stone ring and the 3 stone wedding band to match.

Last week after my first hysterectomy po appoinment we stopped at the mall, I went to pee as usual and stopped by the hair place to buy some hairspray that was clearanced. When I got back to him he told me that he had just bought us new wedding rings for our 4th anniversary which isn't until the 30th. THey are huge mine is a 1 carat yellow gold band and his is 1 carat mans version of mine. I was shocked that he did this. Especially since I just paid off the last big one he purchased.

We picked them up last night and had a great dinner ALONE at Texas Roadhouse and did a little shopping with no kids. It was so peaceful and well needed time together to just reflect on those 4 years and the year we dated.

The quiet conversations at home with no interuption was nice. As we don't get that very often anymore.

I think this one is a keeper girl, even though he is abutt sometimes he does really love me. The annivasry we celebrated was the day we met was March 17 and married a year later on March 30. So we got 1 big gift to each other for both anniversarys

Thanks for letting me blubber.

Leslie,
I think even with his bad days, Rick is a keeper. Even when the testosterone is messing with his gray matter, there is a heart of gold underneath.

Hugs,
Barb

Yes Babs he can be a real butt most of hte time and Romantic is far from his everyday life, but when he does do something it is usually a very huge something all at once.
