Red face New Doctor

Well i saw Dr. Moldwin (author of IC survival guide) and i liked him so much!! He spent time with us from 9:30am till 12:00pm! i couldnt believe it! Anyways....he put me on Valium for the pelvic pain to try to relax my muscles. He said DO NOT DO physical therapy cuz it makes it worse.I was dx with pelvic floor dysfuntion. Next time i go back he wants to scope me in the office which he said will take 30sec. I was so happy when i found out it wasnt the cysto and hydro...ouch painful!! Anyways to get to NYC we need to fly and we are having money problems.
My mom and dad are both pastors and they have been getting money from the bishop of ny to help us out.But my real question is...are there any programs we can sign up for that will give us money to travel back and forth to NYC and for medical things? It would be a huge help!!
Thanks a whole bunch for you support.
Laura

Laura - I'm sorry I don't know of any programs that assist with medical treatment. I would love to see Dr. Moldwin too, even as a consult, but it's a long way to go (I live in Portland Oregon). It's great to hear that he actually LISTENS. There may be someone on who can point you in the right direction. By the way, where do you live? Rose
p.s. Happy Birthday! Mine was on 1/11!
