Question Interstim lead revision surgery?

Has anyone had this surgery due to leads moving? I fell down the stairs 2wks after my my Interstim was implanted and it wasn't working right the last 2 months so the dr thinks it may have been pulled out/or loose. I only feel the stim in my butt cheek now,no matter what settings I use. How was recovery after the 2nd surgery? Mine took about 1 week before I had no pain and felt I could move around fairly easy. Only was on pain meds for 2-3 days though. My dr said it may be an easy recovery since the incisions are already there? ALso does insurance usually cover this the 2nd time since the leads moved b/c I fell?? Thanks!

Revision due to lead moving

See my posts from late '05 through my revision in 6/06. Insurance covered it, no problem.

I had to have mine redone within three months of the first one. Insurance paid. Recovery was quicker and it worked actually better than the first time around... Good luck!

I have had over 12 interstim surgeries! Most insurance will cover the surgery. Recovery was about the same for all of mine. I wish you the best of luck!!!
