First hydro today...
In one hour I'm going to leave the comfort of my home and go to the hospital so someone can put a tube inside me and fill my bladder with water until, if I wasn't rendered unconciuos, I would be screaming my head off.
I'm not happy about it. Actually, if it helps then I'll be thankful. Mostly I'm nervous about the anesthetic because I usually get violently ill after.
Well, wish me luck everyone!

Hi everyone! I feel great. I was kind of dopey when he talked to me after but I think he said my bladder should be able to hold twice as much as before. OH JOY! It doesn't hardly hurt when I pee either. The new anesthetic that they have now is amazing. I have no nausea at all. I do have a headache though. Can I take Tylenol?

Ellsey, glad to read it all went well for you, I would call your doc like Debbie said to find out what you can take for your headache. Really pleased that it went well and no nausea for you after the anesthesia. Take care, hugs Iris. grouphug

So far so good. I had a good long nap on the couch this afternoon, I still have a headache though. I'll call my Doc tomorrow if I still have it. I'm on some pain killers that turn urine bright orange and a new antibiotic called Doxycycline since I may have an allergy to Sulfa. I was supposed to get a DMSO? but he put something else inside my bladder instead. I think it does the same thing. I really wish I asked more questions when I was in there but I never think of them until after.
Thank you all for your support

Yes Sandra, thank you for the message. It turns out I didn't need to worry about it anyways.
What a waste of stress!
Oh well, now I know for next time.
