What is the status on Prelief becoming available in Canada?

Dear Sue:

I wish I could tell you that Prelief will be available in Canada soon, but we just do not know. It would certainly be beneficial to the many Canadian IC patients who are using Prelief. Please be assured that we will continue to work on it.

I am a Canadian as well, though I have not yet tried prelief (recently diagnosed).

I am going to Chicago in a couple of weeks. I'll pick some up there, and if it works, you can bet I'll buy a ton more!

When you go to Chicago, Prelief should be on the shelf in the antacid aisle at Walgreens, Shopko, Osco, Meijer, and Medicap pharmacies. If you do not see it, ask the Store Manager (not the pharmacist). The Store Manager stocks and orders the over-the-counter products and will locate it for you. If you have any problem, please do not hesitate to call our toll-free number.

I live in Canada and I have been getting Prelief at the Walmart Store. I first ordered some from the U.S. and when it came they gave me stores where to find it in up in Canada. I can't remember them all except Walmart. Give them a call!
I don't live in Langley B.C. where that Walmart is but I am close enough to get there when I need to. I would get the number for the Prelief product from the company or from a member who uses it. The Prelief company sent along the stores I could go to when I first ordered some. I hope you have some luck with this. I'm sure you can find it in Canada and not pay all the extra charges when they mail it from the U.S.

Is this true??????? Are there some Walmarts in Canada that are selling Prelief??? I am confused. My husband just went across the border to get 8 bottles for me....

I called the Walmart in Langley, B.C. and I agree with someone earlier don't ask the pharmacist go in person. That is what I am going to do next week when I am in that area. I will post my findings if they have it and how much it costs. I also may call the company that makes it AkPharma at 1-800-994-4711. email prbetty@akpharma.com. I hope I have some good news, it was only about 6 months ago that I got some Prelief about 5 bottles. I do not use it every day so it lasted me along time.

Prelief is not officially for sale in Canada. I have no idea how they obtained it, but if it's there, go for it!

Not sure where in Ontario you are, but if you're near watertown NY border crossing, there's a Walmart right off the exit.
