Numbness
I did have had lots of numbness. Mostly hands and feet and later legs. I never told anyone this when I was a child. Once I was an adult my symptoms became more severe and I was finally diagnosed with peripheral neuropathies. My Drs. explained that it was damage to nerves all scattered throughout my entire body. If one has this it is very helpful to find out the cause of this nerve damage! It probably happened to me due to bad blood supply of oxygen and nutrients to very needly nerve cells. You can't see this damage happening but you sure can feel it. I don't know if the nerve coating is damaged or what condition these nerves are in. My Doctor claims they are dysfunctional nerves. I have regained feelings but still suffer burning pains.
Neuropathy is said to be the most common disease that no one has ever heard of!
If you and your Docs. can find out the cause you may be able to prevent damage that causes your numbness, and prevent further nerve damage, and sometimes nerve recovery is possible.
