Do you know of a support group in the area? I thought I was doing fine for a long time (why I haven't logged on in so long). Now I'm realizing that it's not going to just go away....

I am not super close, but I live in Springfield. There is a support group that meets here the third Monday of every month, but I know it would be a drive. I wish we had a support group in every town in the country!!

If I didn't work until 7 on Mondays I would definitely make that drive!! If I can find people around the area of Joplin, I would be open to forming a support group
I think that we can support each other the best

I live in Neosho. I would love to get together. Do you have a Uro in Joplin?

I'm in Neosho every week for my job! I do have a uro in Joplin, Dr. Stephen Hoyt. He is pretty good, I really like him. But some of his nurses are not so great. They have been rude in the past. But he is the one that finally did something about my IC rather than just brushing it off.
IC 2011-dealing with symptoms since 2010
Fibromyalgia 2012
Chronic Fatigue 2012
Asthma-since I was 3
Allergies since forever
Major Depressive Disorder-2007
Anxiety-2007
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder-2007
Possible IBS as well, they say yes then no then yes.
I take: Effexor 75 mg (3x/daily), Zyrtec (daily), Gabapentin 100 mg (3x/day), Elmiron 100 mg (3x/day), Baclofen 10 mg (3x/day), Tramadol (as needed), Miralax (as needed), Senna-Plus (as needed), Hydroxazine (daily), Hyoscamine (as needed), Orthocyclen (daily), Hyophen (as needed), Pyridium (as needed), Ambian (as needed), Advair (2x/day), Proventil (as needed), Albuterol (as needed)
Failed: Cymbalta, Lyrica, Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft

What did your uro do for you? I was diagnosed in 07 at UMKC and have had problems since. I wish I would go into a remission or something. My uro in Springfield just did a hydrodistention and I am feeling better.
