Ovulation - Vv better IC worse?

I was hoping for some input on this.

I am taking clomid to make me ovulate. Blood test has confrimed I ovulated for the first time in god knows when. I usually have cycles 60+ days and my bladder flares with my period and my vulvodynia virtually goes away at this time, I can wear tight jeans etc.

This time the same has happened around ovulation. So I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a hormone present both at ovulation time and the time of ones period? Whatever it is my bladder doesnt like it and my vulva loves it! Annoying!

    Diagnosed with:
    TMJ Dysfunction 2009
    Vulvodynia and/or PFD 2010
IC, based on symptoms alone 2010.
    PCOS March 2012
    I'm Pregnant
Currently using: IC Diet, prelief with suspect foods and acupuncture.
Medications / treatment tried and discounted:
Fluconazole 150mg 1 per week for 6 months (yeast)
    Endep 25mg - 4months
    Lyrica 75mg - 2 months - FLARE
Oxytrol patch - I think this caused retention.
    Countless creams, lotions and potions.
Cystoprotek - no change in symptoms
PT - for 1 year, has helped with pain with intercourse but not daily vulva pain. Seems to make daily level of pain worse.
    Various herbs and supplements

I have had a doctor tell me that it's not uncommon for women with IC to flare during ovulation and menstruation. I don't know about it from personal experience, though.

diagnosed with PFD and VV October 2009; IC May 2010; acid reflux due to lactose intolerance May 2012
I also have plantar fasciitis: diagnosed August 2011 (had foot surgery 6/28/12 and 11/15/12)

    Current meds:
Cystoprotek 2 pills twice a day, Hydroxyzine 10 mg, Uribel as needed, Gabapentin 600 mg, Oral valium 2 mg twice a day, Vitamin D, Ester-C, capsaicin cream (for vulva), and Prelief as needed
    Other treatments:
IC diet, physical therapy, Traumeel injections as needed, TENS unit, heating pad, instills with sodium bicarb, marcaine, and mucosa compositum
    Tried and didn't work:
Pyridium, Singlair, Nortriptyline, Elmiron, lidocaine and heparin instills (worked at first, then didn't anymore), various creams, acupuncture -- not sure to what extent this did or did not help
