    Flexeril question

I know flexeril is technically a muscle relaxer, but I think was wondering if it helps anyone here with bladder spasms? I was really having spasms last night and drinking baking soda and water didn't do a thing. So, I found some old flexeril in the cupboard that were my husbands, and thought I would try it. I think started to feel better after about 30 minutes.

    Anyone else who takes flexeril?

    Thanks,
    Jane

I'm currently taking it for a back problem. One thing I notice is that urination is very slow right now --- I suspect that it could cause retention --- it's not a good idea to take medications ordered for someone else, especially if you're taking any other meds.

I too have had to take Flexeril before for back problems, and it might have helped my bladder, I am not sure. I didn't like how I felt on it though, so for me to continue taking it wasn't an option.

I take 2 five mg tablets of generic white flexeril every night. It definitely helps me with sleep and pelvic pain.

I'm on flexeral for the bladder and pelvic spasms in the pelvic floor muscles. It helps a lot! I could take take all day but I'm taking classes right now and try to keep as alert as possible. As soon as I get home I tend to take my Tramadol and Flexeral though!
