I have made a few contacts in my area, hoping to connect with some more. I have a good support team in my family and friends, but having someone who understands this disease is really very helpful. I am disabled, but doctor is doing what she can to keep me comfortable. How about you?

Hi Babeygrrl, just sent you a friend request via IC Network. I've been formally diagnosed since 2007, and it's been quite a wild ride since then. I've played guinea pig with so many treatments, but I still have not lost hope. Hoping to get to you know you; I'll be on the boards more, and you can also reach out to me via Facebook. Hi icgrrl, I've been diagnosed in April of this year with IC and I'm having a hard time with it. I'm in the Nola area.

acooper, I am so sorry I have not been in the forum sooner! This has been a nasty season in NOLA, and IC is being nasty right along with it. I am sending you a friend request. Again, please forgive my late response. Maybe we could meet up for a steamed milk after dr appts? Gentle IC hugs!!!
