    enablex

Does anyone know if enablex helps IC. I get a problem every now and then where i get an inflammed feel around my uretha and i feel like i have to go contantly. When i urinate it is just water but whenever that happens that is when the problem is really bad. I would like to know if enablex really helps or not. I have used PyridinePlus, Elmiron,Vesicare and none of them work when i get inflammed.

I have been taking 15 mgs. of Enablex for 3-1/2 years now. Before that I had been on Ditropan XL for 4 years. It helps me tremendously.

    I also take:

    Atarax 50 mgs. at bedtime
Urelle 3 to 4 times per day
Tofranil 25 mgs. in a.m., 50 mgs. at bedtime

Enablex is in the same class of drugs as vesicare, oxybutynin etc. They work by relaxing the bladder muscle. I don't know if it will help you with inflammation but it should help you with frequency. Just because vesicare didn't work for you doesn't automatically mean enablex or others won't so probably worth a try as they are all just a little different.
