Cleaning the blue toliet bowl ring

I haven't posted for awhile but had to share this news. I have had a blue ring around my toliet bowl for years thanks to my med Prosed DS, I have finally found something to get it clean. A puma stick! This morning I tried it and wow! it got the ring. Just had to share this with all of you b/c I know alot of you take Prosed for your IC.

    Correction "Pumie"

I don't believe so. I scrubbed a while and then felt it and I couldn't feel any scratches.

CORRECTION: It's called a Pumie Heavy Duty Scouring Stick, not Puma like the shoes

Vinegar can also work to remove those stains. If you don't leave it too long, it won't damage the toilet surface.

I tried vinegar before and it didn't work for me. I don't take that med anymore and the blue went away. I was afraid it would be there forever.

Thanks for the tip about vinegar, I'll try it out and then look for pumie when I got to the store.

Would vinegar work on removing Prosed blue stain from panties??? it ruined so many of them.

I don't think anything will remove the stains from fabric. I haven't found anything.

This is almost funny to me.. I am new here and just the fact that other people have the blue toilet bowl ring makes me feel wayyyyy less alone. That is great advice as well.

I'm right there with you, Sherry. Just this morning, I shook my head at the blue ring inside my toilet bowl...I use the bleach tablets...but those aren't working. Guess I'm going to have to try the vinegar...then pumie here I come.

I believe the "pumie" refers to pumice.

i havent tried this to remove the blue dye, but I have found a laundry cleaning soap that I have gotten many stains out with (or at least a drastic improvement, so you can still wear it) like grass stains, mud, blood that shout doesnt do that well on. Its called fels naptha made by dial soap company. I found it at ace hardware (werid place for laundry soap , so I thought). Some people find it at groceries stores either in the laundry aisle or by the body soap or online. It seems hard to find sometimes, but it works wonders for other stains for me. So, if anyone has tried that on the blue let me know.

My blue ring on the toliet went a way after i stopped taking urelle for a while.
