Ankylosing spondylitis anyone?
My daughter's rheumatologist thinks she may have this and/or psoriatic arthritis, however her bloodwork shows her body is not in an inflammatory state. She had symptoms of these diseases, and she carries two genes for these diseases.
I suspect (and he does, looking at my labwork) I may have it. I have had back/hip/pelvic pain since I was 14 or earlier, and foot pain since before puberty that nobody could explain. I was diagnosed with Lupus, but it doesn't cause back pain and every time I felt the worst, my bloodwork showed I wasn't flaring....the only things that really helped were narcotics and physical therapy, common for AS. I'm wondering now if I even have Lupus. I see my rheumatologist Monday.
