can anyone relate:ic and a multitude of other symptoms
does anybody have year 'round allergies?i continuously have post nasal drip and am clearing my throat always.the ringing in my ears is constant.it is worse some days.i feel lightheaded a lot too.when my allergies are at their worst my right eye will get blurry, not bad but i know my vision is not at its best.i think my allergies have been worse since my ic and ibs flare.i don't know what connection that would be.i also have large joint pains, neck and spine too.my leg functions feels weak, like there is some nerve damage involved.the top of my right foot and toes feels warm but feels normal to the touch.
i don't understand it.does anybody else know what i am describing?
all my symptoms:
ic frequency
ibs/c-right side pain
allergies
tinnitus(ringing in ears)
arthritis joint pain
scoliosis
spine and neck pain-
legs feel weak, right foot feels warm sensation
i see my doctor next week.does anybody have any input on what all these symptoms could be pointing to,like one ailment that is causing a mutitude of problems?

I agree, I would look into fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue syndome. I have some of the same symptoms....chronic sore throat/acid reflux, joint and muscle pain, muscle spams/twitches and bladder pain/spasms besides IC. Also, I don't believe IC is limited to the bladder, I believe it is a syndrome that affects other areas of the body.

sick and tired of being sick and tired
I have alot of the same problems. My biggest is fatigue. We're looking at auto immune disorders, right now fibro and sjogren's since I've had so many problems with my eyes. I wasn't getting anywhere with my dr untill I said the words "auto immune". There are blood tests other than SED rate that measure inflammation, that aren't normally checked. So far all of mine have been normal (very frustrating) but I feel like my body is attacking itself, if that makes sense.

Yes, I do feel like I have lots of weird stuff going on with my body since this IC thing started in January!! GRRRR! I think I may have responded to some of your other posts, ie sjogrens, etc.
I think all of a sudden my body has been taken over by autoimmune disease and is affecting my whole body
. I was perfectly healthy before January of this year and now it is one thing after another.
I was recently diagnosed with sjogrens and have these weird things going on as well:
All over body tingling, muscle aches, joint pain and now my lastest: bowel problems. I see my primary dr this Friday as I have been having mucus in my stool and sometime a trace of blood. My head even feels weird inside, can't really explain, but like pressure inside.
The only good thing is my bladder is finally calming down after 5 mos of elmiron and diet and 12 instills.
I just started plaquenil for autoimmune issues about 2.5 weeks ago. That is to take about 2 mos to start working.
I just want to be healthy again!!! I feel your pain and frustration!!

I'm gonna ask for a referral to a rheumatologist on oct. 1. I have a follow-up for a lung infection that took three courses of antibiotics to clear up. I broke a few ribs from the cough being so bad. Feel free to send me a message and maybe we exchange info and help each other figure this out. Have your blood tests shown inflammation? Mine are on the "high side" of "normal", so my dr isn't concerned. My mom also has an auto immune disorder, I hear they can be genetic.
