    PT is coming along.

PT is coming along. The areas of my pelvic floor that used to be hard as bone or rock are softer now and I'm learning lots of methods to manage the constant strong urges to void. I'm also doing all the pelvic floor stretches in Amy Stein's "Heal pelvic pain" book and that's a help too. The pelvic drop and letting go exercises are very helpful. Plus there are relaxation CDs out there, made by physical therapists, (Not the new agey ones made by non PTs) that can really help you learn bladder management via targeted muscle relaxation techniques. None of this is a cure but I have found them to be valuable tools and I'm still working at it. (You have to be diligent to reap the benefits.)

I'll keep you all updated as things move along.

We've just started biofeedback today and it's fascinating.

    Love, H.

    Hey Hannah,

Fantastic work I too have had the pleasure in feeling the joy of this success. Deligthed for you; however I dont know about you but I often find that they can be nice and soft and relaxed some weeks and then during stressful times (like moving flat or man trouble) they get really tensed up and hard during the myofascial release and i feel like Im going round in circles!! Do you find this?

    Cheers,

    Mary
