Mild burning flare
I'm having a mild burning flare, I just finished peeing with alittle pain and some pus looking stuff came out and it looked long, I wonder what could it be??? :toosh: I'm not worried just wondering.

I would call the doctor. Puss doesn't sound good!

You may want to get checked for a UTI. The burning can be a sign of infection.

This sounds like infection

Yup, I'd rule out infection as a cause for the flare.

Diagnosed August 2001
Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)
Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)
