These last few days in Ohio have really lifted my spirits. My IC is getting betterr all the time and my diet is back to a more normal diet (as in I can use salt and pepper and non-organic meats and mozzeralla).

I was sinking into a end of the semester funk with finals week approaching and this good weather really helped bouy me back up.

What helped me get to and stay in remission? stress reduction, diet, time, meditation, stress reduction, stress reduction, stress reduction!--I no longer take medications for IC, PFD,VV, anxiety, or depression. Making career and lifestyle changes to reduce stress and learning techniques to manage anxiety set the stage for my bladder to heal.
My history: No history of bladder issues***Onset of IC and VV sxs Nov 2003***Diagnosed Nov 2004 based on symptoms and hydro/biopsy results***Cysto-Hydro did not give therapeutic relief, I had complications and long recovery ***Hunner's Ulcers found and removed during hydro***Symptoms: the usual~pain, burning, spasms, frequency, urgency, nocturia, lower back and upper thigh pain, very bloated "IC Belly"
Treatments that helped my IC,VV,& PFD symptoms: pyridium, elavil, tylenol 3, ibuprofen, lidocaine gel and patches, cold packs, heating pad, diet, lots of water

That's great that you are seeing some improvement! Rarely gets cold where I live, but when it does, it greatly exacerbates my symptoms. Hope you continue to feel better and better and are able to add more foods back to your diet...that is ALWAYS good!

That's awfully tempting this time of year!

Shoot, even Michigan sounds good right now except I know the kind of winters they get! Perhaps I'll turn into one of those snowbirds later in life. Arizona for the winter and Idaho in the summer. (Vegas spring & fall. Oh wait,... I kind of already do that one!)

Well, the blizzard warnings have moved east, over into Montana. Looks like it's heading your way Julie!

Hope it loses steam or it will probably arrive just in time to ruin your weekend!

Bri is right, we don't usually have a lot of cold weather here in Texas (Central where I live) but when it does, its a doozy! (I really don't think we had a Winter this year!?.
Here it is 85 degrees today, yesterday it was almost 90 and no breeze so had to have the A/C - today I do have a few windows open.
