    doctors/pfd therapists in south Jersey?

Hi, I haven't been on these boards in over a year I had been symptom free. Unfortunately, my symptoms are back. I need to find a doctor in my area that knows about IC. I'm looking for someone in either Burlington or Camden county. I also more importantly need to find a PFD therapist trained in relaxing tight pelvic muscles. Can you make an appointment with a PT without a doctor's note? Is there anyone out there from my area? Does anybody know of any physicians? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    pt's

I saw a Michele Stroud in Voorhees, NJ. She was excellent. She'll likely have a long waiting time to get in your first appointment, but she's worth it. You can call at 856-325-6622. I go to Dr. Whitmore in Philadelphia and she just referred me to a specialist that she uses - her name is Erica Fletcher. I just called to get an appointment with her and her first opening isn't until the last week of May! She is located somewhere in the Philadelphia region. Her phone number is 610-639-6586. She also has a website at www.ericafletcher.com. Hope this helps. I live in Burlington, NJ which is almost in the middle of the state, along the delaware river. I guess it is considered south jersey!!

Thank you very much. I'm actually going to see Dr. Whitmore in May. I'll keep Michelle Stroud's name in mind, because I would really prefer not to drive in the city for PT. Thanks again!

After seeing other area IC specialists, I think Dr. Philip Hanno at HUP is excellent. He's a leading researcher & a very thorough, compassionate dr.

I just read your posting...Im a little late. I currently see one of Dr. Whitmore's NP. I also have PFd as well as vulvadynia and IC. I see NP Jenn on a biweekly basis and recieve tremele injections. They help the PFD imensley. I also have creams and spray that numb the area. Good luck with everything.
