    tramadol effective?

Hi everyone. My doctor called in some tramadol for me today to help with this recent flare.50mgs every 6 hours. If there is anyone else also taking it was it effective for your pain? My uro told me that if I thought I needed something stronger after this I would need to go to a pain clinic. Thanks

    pain reduction

I used tramadol for quite a while since no doctor would prescribe me opiate meds. I would say that it didn't get rid of the pain, but reduced it to make life more manageable. That's about all I can say about it - it was better than nothing!

It worked for me for awhile and I didn't flare from it. Hope it works for you.
