Leaving for the Beach
Well, I am heading out tomorrow at 8:30AM for Ocean City MD. While excited, I am already exhausted. All of the packing and planning wore me out. I have tried to make sure we have enough snacks, toys, movies and entertainment for a 4 and 5 year old for the 6 hour car ride. My shopping buggy at Wal Mart appeared as if we were leaving for a month. I had to get stuff for the trip as well as enough food to feed dear hubby while we are gone. He is a big eater for such a tiny guy. As we all know, it isn't as if he could go shopping for himself now could he? Then put in cleaning out the car top to bottom, front to back, the windows, changing the oil, checking the tires, man I am ready fall over. This is my first "far away trip" since IC so I am hoping it behaves, it has been as of late. I am not banking on that though and have my emergency kit ready. I also packed a small one for the car/beach so I don't have to carry everything from the hotel. A bag with my pain meds, Pyridium, tylenol, therma care wrap, Valium, and Xanax. Just a one day supply of each though to carry to the beach with me. The rest of the stuff I will leave at the hotel. I haven't decided as to wether or not I should use the hotel safe for my meds. Seems like a hassle but I'd be SOL if someone broke into our room. Anyone have a view on that? Well, I am going to go feed my growling belly, been so busy I haven't ate yet. I will probably check back one time before I leave. I will post a link to some pics when I get back. We were planning on Monday as our return day but mom got called into a mandatory meeting Friday so we will be returning Thursday. I think 4 days with 2 girls whom fight over air will be enough.LOL

~I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis at the age of 23, 4 months after getting married. I also have severe Endometriosis, Adhesion Disease and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. All of which were diagnosed AFTER being diagnosed with IC. Before IC my only health issues were a history of migraines since I was a child and a battle with cervical dysplasia. I had a LEEP in 2007 and have been clear of the cancerous cells since.~
