    Strange question ...

When I sneeze it causes me intense muscle pain in my abdominal area , like if Im standing the pain forces me to my knees . It goes away in a few minutes , but holy hell batman , it hurts !!! I know when you sneeze or cough that you can pull muscles , but its every time and quick intense stabbing pains ...like someone is tearing my lower abdominal muscles . SO weird !! Does anyone else have this ?

    Hernia?

    Lauren,

My first thought is, sometimes that can be a symptom of hernias. Check it out with your Dr. if it continues.

    OOOH sounds uncomfortable.

Definitely check with your doctor. You might have pulled a muscle with one horrible sneeze, then every time you sneeze again, it irritates that muscle.

I had that sensation/pain due to adhesions.
The only way you're going to find out exactly whats causing the discomfort is to seek medical attention.
Hopefully its nothing more than a pulled muscle.

    Feel better

What doc would I call for that ? GYN , Urogyn or primary ?? It feels like something is tearing and then it burns afterward .... Its been going on for awhile though , could that still be a pulled muscle ??

Your primary Dr would be a good start.

    Take care...

First choice of md's I would start would family md. Let him do his assessment and order any ground work like xrays etc then he would refer you out. If it was a hernia he could tell on exam and then would refer you. Family MD first.
    Good Luck. Vicky
