We Lost Our House
Well I found out yesterday we lost the house. None of our family have room for us. I dont know what to do. We cant find a place to live yet. Everybody has a strict no pets policy or a 2 pet policy. I have been so stressed that I am flaring badly I cant even hardly move. I just dont know what to do

I am so sorry. I wish I knew how I could help. I know some how every thing happens for a reason. I wish I knew the reason.
Daily Meds:
IC-Meds
Ditropan XL 5 BID, Elavil 50 QD, Elmiron 200 BID, Hydroxine 50 BID. As Needed: Bacofen 20, Prosed DS, Hydrocodone/Apap.
Other Meds
Adderal 10 QD, Remmeron 37 QD (I take 1 1/2 of 25 mg)
With the help of my doctor moving my meds around a bit by increasing this and decreasing that I have found a good combination of meds (for now and I pray a long time from now).

I am so sorry to hear this. Are there any charity organizations in your area that might be able to help you all find a home? Maybe an area Church could help with funds to get you into a new place. Are there any rescue organizations that could help with your pets until you get into another house? I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers

I understand what you and your family are going through. Jerry (my husband) and I lost our house of 14 years a few months ago. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats and besides my being unable to work, ride public transportation to downtown Chicago and being in constant pain after being the most athletic, outgoing person, my dear Jerry has been dealing with leukemia for several years and still holding down a full-time job. But he got laid off in January and we said the stress will kill us before anything else. So we made the decision to let the house go and found a rental home less than a mile away. It's more than we can afford but we couldn't lose our pets, dogs are 15, 11 and 9 and the cats are about 13 years old. Jerry got rehired but no raise in sight as he works for notorious cheapskates, but at least we have our health insurance. Jerry was diagnosed with lymphoma in addition to the leukemia, but he is the most positive, optimistic person I've ever known. I filed for disability in January and it's like trying to prove you're innocent of a capital crime.
We have had some incredible friends and family help us through these very rough times. We had to walk away from over $70,000 in equity in our house.
I also have immediate family that wouldn't help us although we have never asked for anything and had a great life until recently. But family can also be those people who love you but may not be related to you by blood. With the help of neighbors and friends, we are making it.
We hope you will reach out to everyone you know. There are many great people out there who may not know your situation. From personal experience I know the tendency is to keep your problems private and I've been an expert at silently wallowing in our problems. But you need to speak up and ask for help--it's there and you deserve it.
Please let us know how things go; we'll be praying for you.Last edited by SharonA; 05-24-2008 at 08:28 AM. Reason: Inappropriate comments/political statements

I'm very deeply sorry to hear the bad news. We lost our family home in Dec 06. It was one of the hardest times of my life. The house and land was in my dad's name. he had gotten remarried then divorce with in six months well during that time he refin. the place. My husband, myself and our children step in and tried our best to save it, but sadly after five years of fighting we couldn't pay for it any longer. I know your hurt.
have you tried contacting the morg company and asking them to work with you to catch up your payments?
if that doesn't work
you can contact one of those forclosers places to see if that will help.
that is if your place hasn't already went up for sale at the court house.
it worth a try.
I honestly feel your pain. I still can't bring my self to go by our old place. Even passing the street my heart sinks. So much money, work and love went into that place.
I know I have to trust in the Lord. Only he could see what was in front of us. My husband has became sick and now is unable to work. he is fighting for is disability as we speak.
If you want someone to talk too. Please feel free to p.m.
Sending you best wishes.
RhondaMedicine taken daily or as needed:
1. Heaprin and Marcaine rescue installment 1 to 3x daily as needed.

Reading your post just brought back memories and broke my heart.. I am so sorry. I truly know what you are going through. I lost my home in 05 and still feel the loss to this day. But please try to stay postive because where one door shuts another one may open. If you lost it due to forecloser there are some programs out there that are now put in place that are offering assistance for people who have been forced into forecloser. If you need someone to talk to Please feel free to Pm me at anytime.. ((((hugs)))

Sad how many things can take us down!! I saw on the bottom of one of your profiles "I have IC but Ic doesn't have me anymore" I pray for those days
I am also in a mess with my house I am a single mom and since I have been out of work these last 6 months my house payments are behind I call and call to tell them what's going on to see if I can get help they say someone will call you we see you have been in the hospital a good bit and had 3 surgeries someone will call you mama yet still no calls back. I saw on the news that countrywide was bought out so I guess that's why I can't get a call back.
I lost my job from being out so long I am getting short term dis. right now but that's about to run out, I am paying for cobra to keep my insurance gosh knows where we all would be if we didn't have that!!
Cobra had messed my insurance up and put me in for 2200.00 dect. and my meds are over 1100.00 a month without insurance so needless to say I got behind and am still fighting to get my money back.
We all have to pray and hope for a cure and stick together.
I thank each of you for letting me vent
((((((HUGS))))) to all

I wish I could do something to help you out. How many pets do you have? Not sure where you live but where I am and most said no pets or had the 2 pet limit as well. No matter how much I could afford to pay. Losing your home will be bad enough but to lose your little pets would be worse I would think. Wouldn't family at least take the pets until you found something maybe? I know shelters won't allow pets either. I hope you find help for you and soon.
