    Question good or bad calories?

Ok, I have fallen back into my snacking binge AGAIN. Bought bottled flavored water. Seems to be the only way the bladder will accept water without a fight. The only thing is I noticed it has 100 calories per bottle. Now, I was thinking would the 100 calories in the water be better calories then 100 in cookies or candy? I could snack on the water instead of sweets or does it all work out the same in the end? The water would flush my system out. Was drinking snapple but that made me pee too much and made the pain worse. I'm starting to get fatter again. Can tell in my cloths.

Actually 100 calories is 100 calories, regardless of where you get them. You might try plain bottled spring water.

It's kinda like that old question: Which is heavier...a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks. A pound is a pound and a calorie is a calorie...no matter the food or drink it comes in.

What you really need to look for is nutrition per calorie. Neither flavored water nor sweets will give you the nutrition that you need, they're really just wasted calories and they definitely won't fill you up. It's much better to snack on something that's sweet and that will provide you with some nutrition. Are you able to eat any fruits? If I'm feeling like snacking and I can resist the sweet stuff long enough to cut up an apple or peel a banana, I can overcome the urge for sweets and put some good nutrition into my body, which I really believe helps us feel better, both right away and in the long run. Raisins area also great, if you can tolerate them, really they taste like candy. I also find that the mini carrots are great, even though they're not very sweet, they take the edge off my cravings.

Good luck! My clothes are also fitting too tightly, I need to take my own advice and avoid the sweets!

waterflow - try drinking watered down gatorade if your bladder can handle it, or better yet - there are a ton of "powders" you can add (again if you can handle it) to your water, that are less than 5 calories.

Propel makes a fitness water that is 25 calories for the entire bottle as well. So if you absolutely have to have "flavored" water and it doesnt irriate your bladder - give it a try.

    Good luck
