back from the urologist

Urologist didn't seem to think that my pain is IC. but I'm not yet convinced. He said if it was IC i would be in excrutating pain and miserable. Now my pain is not debiltating but it is bad and constant. He wants me to try detrol la and come back in a few weeks if that doesnt work for the possibility of more test? any ideas?

Hi, you could try the Detrol LA, and see if it will help. If it does not, go back to your doctor and let your doctor run some test to rule out things. You continue to tell your doctor what is going on. Keep a dairy: how much you hurt, how many times you void, do food trigger the pain, do standing, walking, exercising cause more pain; aso because of the pain is it stopping you from doing what you use to be able to do, trouble sleeping, just any information that you have can help your doctor in the right direction. As long as this doctor is willing to work with you and help that is great. If this doctor, stop helping you seek for other doctor until you are getting that help you deserve.
