Fell down the darn steps
Why in the world am I so clumsy lately. I fell down the steps at about 6 am this morning. Ouch!!
My left butt check was hurting earlier in the week from my pudendal nerve so of course I had to fall on my right butt check to even the score. I took my pain meds right away and went back to bed with my heating pad right on my butt. I don't feel as sore anymore but I have a feeling once I go out to do the grocery shopping I'll be feeling it again.
I just made an appointment last night to use my gift certificate today to go and get my hair cut with a "master stylist." I'm still going to go and hope it doesn't kill my butt to sit there through it. Hopefully I'll be up to posting pictures when I get home. I think I'm going for shorter again which I haven't had since Griff was born. I hope everybody has a better day than I've been having.
Christine
I have been diagnoised for 2 1/2 years. I have tried every oral med as well as rescue instills and DMSO.
1st hydro 4/07 which showed no visible signs of IC but I had tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. I am still feeling the effects of the hydro two weeks later.
This 2nd hydro proved that because no treatments have helped me that my IC has progressed
Am being seen by Dr. Hanno's office in Philly
None of my medicine or treatments are important anymore. One of our best IC sisters Barb has been taken from us too early. She was such a great friend to me, I feel like there is a part of my heart that will always be empty now that she is gone.

Add me to the clumsy club! Not too long ago I fell down my stairs too...no reason for it, I just tripped and down I went. You'll feel it for several days. I don't know if you can take advil or aleve but they help the body pain leftover from the fall a lot. I'm fortunate and it doesn't bother my bladder most of the time, but after that fall I think I would have suffered with my bladder rather than the pain from the fall.
I hope you have a fun day today!*IC-- Summer 2004; PFD--October 2005

I am a constant klutz myself! I almost missed my chair just a few minutes ago.
I hope you can enjoy getting your hair styled. That is one of my favorite luxuries for myself, especially getting my hair washed!
Feel better!

Can I join the clumsy club? Last week I met some friends for lunch after a nice big snowfall that week so the parking lot was really messy. Well, I was taking my cell out to call home to check on Izzy and I began to slide. I was like "yes I am not going to fall, I caught myself!" and then all of a sudden one leg was airborne and I slammed down on my right hip/butt. Luckily no one was around to see me and my graceful fall.
But I did have a nice bruise for my trouble

I'm sorry you fell down the steps. I hope you have a nice hair appointment. I bring a donut cushion with me to all of my hair appointments. It would be nice to see photos when you are all done!

Hmm, I think we should start a Clumsy Support Group!!
I am so sorry you fell, geesh, not only does it bruise the body, but the ego as well, lol. I have had my fair share of finding the floor/ground/sidewalk/steps with my butt...
One of my visits to the inlaws, hubby and I were leaving, and walking out to the car I stepped half on-half off the side walk and down I went. It was mortifying!! LMAO!! Thank goodness it was night time, as the neighbors were all inside, they'd think I was drunk or something...
Here's to hoping your butt doesn't pay the price - and yes - you'd better post pics of the new 'do!!!
Hugs,
Tracey

WE should have a post of "if only people saw us" thread! That would be so funny! My entire family enjoys other people's "misfortunes", which as klutzy as I am, I have only had one story to add in all these years..because I just haven't had a witness!" and it really wasn't that funny after all since I ended up being put on the wrong med (pharmacy mistake) and I fell down some steps at my in-laws house.

Ronda...That is so funny about your hubby. I guess he has big feet and never grew into them. Reminds me of a puppy with big paws...always tripping over them.
